 BASIC NEEDS OF PETS:

INFORMATION

Vaccinations can be given at 6 - 8 weeks of age. With most vaccines a booster is due 3 - 4 weeks after the first one. After the boosters are done every vaccine is due annually.

Deworming is due every 2 weeks until the pet is 3 months old, then every month until the pet is 6 months old. Deworming should be done 2 - 3 times a year for the rest of the pets life as a preventive of worms. For cats you can get Profender™, it is a topical that is placed at the top of the neck and lasts for 3 months.

Flea Treament can be started at 6 -8 weeks of age. Most of the products are a monthly routine. For overall Flea control we reccommend Revolution™, it is a topical and it kills fleas at all 3 life stages and is repeated once a month. Revolution™ also treats and controls ear mites, sarcoptic mange mites, ticks, hookworm, roundworm, and prevention of heartworms.
